These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the website www.scribedinteriors.co.uk and the services provided by Scribed Interiors Ltd.
By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Our Services
Scribed Interiors Ltd provides design, supply and installation of bespoke kitchens, bedrooms, media walls and fitted interior solutions.
All projects are subject to quotation, site survey and written agreement.
3. Quotations
- All quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
- Quotations are based on the information available at the time of survey.
- We reserve the right to amend pricing if project scope changes.
- Additional works requested after acceptance will be charged separately.
4. Orders & Payments
A deposit is required to secure your booking and order materials.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- A deposit is payable upon acceptance of quotation
- A staged payment may be required prior to installation
- The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion
We reserve the right to suspend work if payments are not made in accordance with agreed terms.
Ownership of goods remains with Scribed Interiors Ltd until full payment has been received.
5. Late Payment
If payment is not received by the due date:
- We reserve the right to charge statutory interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
- Interest may be charged at 8% above the Bank of England base rate.
- We may also claim reasonable debt recovery costs where applicable.
We reserve the right to suspend ongoing work or withhold delivery of goods until outstanding amounts are paid in full.
6. Client-Supplied Materials
Where a customer chooses to supply their own materials, fixtures, fittings or appliances:
- Scribed Interiors Ltd accepts no responsibility for defects, faults, compatibility issues or delays caused by such items.
- We cannot guarantee suitability, fit, or manufacturer specifications for items not supplied by us.
- Any additional labour required due to incorrect measurements, missing parts, or product faults will be chargeable.
- We are not liable for damage arising from defective client-supplied goods.
- Warranty claims for client-supplied items remain the responsibility of the customer.
We reserve the right to decline installation of items we consider unsafe or unsuitable.
7. Installation
- Customers must ensure reasonable access to the property.
- The installation area must be cleared prior to work commencing.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by third parties, including other trades.
- Minor variations in colour, grain and finish may occur due to natural materials and manufacturing tolerances.
8. Cancellations
If a customer cancels after materials have been ordered, costs incurred up to that point will be payable.
Deposits are non-refundable once materials have been ordered or manufacturing has begun.
9. Warranties
Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied products where applicable.
Installation workmanship is covered for a reasonable period, subject to normal wear and tear and correct usage.
Damage caused by misuse, alteration, third-party interference, or client-supplied materials is not covered.
10. Limitation of Liability
Scribed Interiors Ltd shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Delays outside our reasonable control
- Pre-existing structural, plumbing or electrical issues
- Defects or failures relating to client-supplied materials
Our total liability shall not exceed the total contract value.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
11. Photography
We may photograph completed projects for marketing purposes unless you request otherwise in writing.
No personal information will be published without consent.
12. Website Use
All content on this website, including images and text, is the property of Scribed Interiors Ltd and may not be reproduced without permission.
We aim to ensure website information is accurate, but we do not guarantee it is free from error.
13. Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on this website.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales
